Clinical Approach:
My approach in therapy always starts with seeking to understand you, meeting you where you’re at mentally, and helping you achieve a balance between self-acceptance vs self-improvement. Change is a scary thing for all of us, so I make sure to allow you to take things at your own pace, while giving you gentle pushes when it seems you’re ready. Therapy is about building self-awareness, which means understanding yourself better and paying attention to your internal world more than your external world. I’m here to help you navigate through that difficult and sometimes intimidating path to healing. I provide techniques and philosophies that foster self-empowerment and I use a variety of approaches depending on your needs and what you find the most helpful.
Hobbies:
Aside from psychology, I also have a passion for nutrition and fitness. I’ve lost a significant amount of weight over the last 3 years and started weightlifting. I’d love to work with people who struggle with losing weight and improve their mentality surrounding their weight loss goals.
